THE BAKERY
In the beginning of 2023, we were allowed to bring life to the beautiful premises at Zollhafen. A long-time dream came true: to bring a piece of Pankratiushof to the inner city of Mainz. The liesbeth is connected to the Kunsthalle (an art museum) – in the summer you can sit by the harbor basin and it is the perfect destination after a walk along the Rhine river.

BAKERY
liesbeth is not your usual kind of bakery. Our products are created with passion and conviction using the highest quality food and basic products from our region. You can expect the Pankratiushof range of sourdough baked goods, croissants & fine patisserie. Our coffees are roasted by Paul Bonna in Mainz-Gonsenheim. Here, too, the aim is to transport the origin as authentically as possible, while achieving maximum complexity and a unique flavor profile in every cup.
EVENINGS
TRATTORIA
We make our pizza dough with flour from organic grain from Rheinhessen fields and a sourdough that is over 20 years old. Since we don’t add yeast, our dough needs approx. 36 hours to rise. In our small dairy on the Pankratiushof, we produce artisan mozzarella, ricotta and other products several times a week using milk from happy Jersey cows from Bodenheim near Mainz. You can expect a small, seasonally changing menu & wines from befriended winemakers who value hand-picking, minimal intervention in the cellar and who only consider adding sulphur where absolutely necessary.
Reservations are only available for the Trattoria. We always have a few spots for walk-ins.
